1. What are the basic skills needed to get online work?
You need to have basic internet skills (e.g. knows how to email, copy & paste, conduct online research, etc.). You must be able to understand and construct simple English sentences. And most importantly – you must know how to follow basic English instructions.
2. How much can I earn working online?
It depends on your skills OR willingness to learn new skills. The truth is – you can earn as much as those who are working in a regular office or even more!. You can earn enough to pay all your monthly bills including leisure expenses. 🙂
Below are some of the average income of online workers:
>> Call Center Agents: $400 to $500 and up monthly salary (full-time)
>> Virtual Assistants: $400 – $1,000/mo. and up full-time & $5 – $10/hr. part-time
>> English Tutors: $300 to $700 monthly salary (full or part-time)
>> Web Designers: $200 to $500 & up per website (part-time)
>> Social Media Managers: $5 to $10 per hour (part-time)
>> Writers: Average of $5 to $50 & up per article (part-time)
>> Other Freelance Jobs (Data Entry, Proofreader, Researcher, Marketer, others): Ave. of $20-$50 & up/project or $3 & up per hour.
3. Do I need to pay to get an online job?
NO, most online job opportunities are open to anyone for free. Do not join online job sites that ask for membership fees in order for them to give you work – as there are hundreds of companies that provide jobs and earning programs for free.
4. Can I still work online even if I’m not a computer expert? Are there easy ways to earn online?
Yes. There are lots of internet companies that pay online participants for doing simple online tasks, such as:
>> Viewing online ads – popularly known as PTC,
>> Answering online surveys,
>> Doing online research,
>> Posting comments on forums, blogs, & social media sites,
>> Playing online games, and other similar simple online tasks.
Although above are tasks are considered “low & slow-earners”, they are still the best paid “on-the-job training” that you can get while still looking for real online work.
Also, doing these tasks regularly can help you become more internet savvy and hence more confident to apply for a good paying freelance job in the future.
