Work from home Technical Support Representative (Regular Employment)

Key responsibilities:

1. Apply knowledge of RingCentral Services, VOIP technology, and networking hardware and software. Provide tech support to RingCentral customers. Troubleshoot and repair RingCentral's solutions. Understand network architecture to support RingCentral's VOIP services. Recommend network hardware, software, and design elements. Answer technical questions, solve technical problems and suggest appropriate workarounds. Provide quick and accurate handling of support interactions -- phone, chat, screen sharing, and email. 

2. Handle and resolve customer inquiries, questions, complaints, and billing concerns with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism utilizing all resources available given to Tier 1 Representatives;

3. Offer alternative solutions when appropriate if the issue is beyond the representative's training and scope of responsibility with the objective of resolving the customer's concerns.

4. Adhere to schedules, guidelines, and requirements in accordance with the company's set policies and procedures.

 

Requirements:

1. 2 years of collegiate education is required

2. At least 6 mos to 1 yr of working experience in Tech support is required.

3. Tech support chat experience for at least 1 year is required.

4. 40 WPM is required.

5. Excellent communication skills.

6. Basic knowledge of VOIP, networking, routers, and modems

7. Strong customer service orientation.

8. Experience configuring, updating and supporting VOIP solutions in a multi-location environment is a plus.

9. Ability to work efficiently in a highly demanding, team-oriented and fast-paced environment.

10. Networking, IT or telecommunications certification is a plus.

11. Amenable to work night shifts.
